As a fund manager, Ahmed Abu Aida started his life in a bank and was listed in the same bank in several departments, the last of which was the foreign currency division before moving to work outside the country. He returned to Jordan in 2010 to become the General Manager of Standard Chartered Bank in Jordan, with more than 25 years of experience in the banking sector.

Ahmed Abu Eida was the first Arab to reach this position at Standard Chartered Bank since its establishment 150 years ago. He was also the youngest manager at the time. His appointment had great impact in opening the way for Arab employment in the bank, eventually resulting in the hiring of 5 Arab managers.

During its years of operation, the Bank has achieved the highest growth in its branches worldwide. Standard Chartered Bank has won several prestigious awards such as the Best Foreign Bank Award for the years 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015, which is organized by EMEA Finance ).

In recognition of his efforts, Ahmed has been appointed as Regional Manager of Standard Chartered Bank (Jordan, Iraq, Egypt and Lebanon) in October 2015. He is at the forefront of the Bank's strategic management and management functions in this country.

Ahmed Abu Aida has charted his way to success since he reached the age of 18, where he chose to study finance and banking. He chose to work in the banking sector after that, contrary to the family's desire to continue the medical profession that his father had seen. Ahmed was able to convince everyone that he is capable of achieving his dream and persevere to reach his desired goal.

Al Hassan had a great impact in the life of Ahmed Abu Aida where he completed the golden stage and was able, through the award and daily dealings with his trainers from the Special Forces and the Air Force to learn planning and discipline. Ahmed believes that fatigue, self-reliance and self-reliance are the means of success in life. Ahmed also believes in honesty, steadfastness, respect for others, and the creation of a stimulating work environment.

Finally, one of Ahmad’s favorite activities is volunteering, he has participated in many volunteer campaigns through many institutions of society such as Injaz w takkiyet om Ali and other national institutions.
