Ministry of Education and Al-Hassan Youth Award Discuss Partnership
The Ministry of Education and Al-Hassan Youth Award discussed, on Monday, bilateral cooperation and partnership, with the aim of developing the skills and capabilities of youth and enhancing the meanings of development, belonging and active citizenship.
The Director of the Award, Ayman Al-Mufleh, stressed during a meeting with educational officials, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry for Educational Affairs, Dr. Nawaf Al-Ajarmah, the importance of the partnership between the Ministry and the Award, indicating that the Award seeks to have a large participation of education directorates in its competitions.
For his part, Al-Ajarmah pointed out the importance of establishing the principle of partnership between the Ministry and the Award, supporting the efforts of the cadres in charge of it, facilitating tasks and overcoming all challenges facing the workflow in it.
The philosophy of the Hassan Award stems from a system of supreme human values that embody the concepts of freedom, justice, cooperation, participation, love, responsibility, belonging, investing free time, increasing production, and serving society and the environment, by providing the opportunity for young people from the ages of 14 to 25 to participate in purposeful competitions across 3 levels, which have been in operation since 1984. The award programs aim to encourage participation rather than competition with others, and to measure individual progress by the standard of self-development rather than setting specific standards to achieve the goal that the participant sets for himself, and to provide the opportunity to choose activities according to the participant’s desire without being subject to any kind of coercion.
